If you signed up to the Summer term Box league click on the link  to start planning your matches:

Box league summer 2012

There is also a copy up in the clubhouse. Good luck!

Congratulations to our last Cain and Fuller Junior Box league winners:

Sam Frost, Oscar Snowball and Eleanor Hargreaves.

They are each awarded £10 and will be ‘promoted’ into higher boxes for the next league.

Congratulations also to the runners up who played some tough competitive matches namely Triston Magson, Conor Hutchinson, Sid Smith and Adam Holwell.

There is also a bonus prize of £5 each to Harry Frost, Jake Holmes, Meera Parmar and Zoe Durston for being the sole participants in their box! (NB This is a one off and is not meant to encourage non participation in the future!)

The league was an opportunity for many of our junior players to experience their first competitive game and from feedback everyone who played enjoyed the matches and they wish to continue. It was also lovely to hear many of our adult players comment on the general behaviour and sportsmanship during the matches!

If you are signed up for the next box league start playing those matches, the deadline is June 11th 2012!

Wet Weather Policy

Tennis is an outdoor activity, and therefore affected by the weather. Cirencester TC members’ safety is paramount, and during times of heavy rain, thunderstorms, snow and ice, coaching sessions will have to be cancelled. On these occasions, the coach for the session will make the best possible decision in the interest of both players and parents and this decision will be made when possible on site. If you have any doubts regarding your tennis session then please call Adam on 07795 595294.

Courses will be run over a given number of weeks with 2 ‘spare weeks’ to cope with missed sessions. Regretfully refunds cannot be given when the full course cannot be completed due to weather conditions out of our control.
